Hi, I'm new in Europe and would like to bring my FJ55 over, it needs a new motor, and gas is so expensive here in Norway I think I will put a diesel in. Anyone have any good sugestions/comments?

Diesels for an FJ55
you could try an get your hands on a BJ-40 landcruiser .The BJ-40 has a 2977cc diesel B-engine made by daihatsu or hino fitted between 1974 and 1984.You could take the engine and gearbox out and put it into your FJ55.You can pick up one in IRELAND in running order for about 500 to 800 euro.Keep a look out on the buy and sell paper(www.buyandsell.ie) best of luck .BPMANNION.DUBLIN.
