Travelling with dog in the UK ??

Beitrag von Jordi »

Hi there,
has anybody of you Landcruiser fans travelled the UK with his dog ( dogs) ?
Planning to do just this, I would like to know whether dogs - well not monsters, just mediumsized nice guys - will generally accepted in restaurants, bars, pubs und most important, hotels.
Going around Europe you make most different experiences - the absolute worst is  S P A  I N - but generally there is no problem at all.

Well, how about England ?
Thanks for any advice or hint .
Jordi

Hi Jordi!
I don't have had my dog with me in England, but I know that Englishmen normally love dogs. Problem is the quarantine regulation. But there are a few harbours and ferrylines where that is no problem, you must announce the dog and have a veterinary certificate with you. You will see details in the InterNet.

Hi,Buschlöwin, following my message directly to you here I will definitely give the website to go to for infos about travelling with a dog to die UK. The source of our dog-info for a planned trip to England/Schottland/Hebriden is : http://home.egge.net/savory/hols 2ooo.htm
For people who have fun travelling - still more obviously if they love dogs and - in particular - bulldogs, this is a great site..
Thanks again,
Jordi
