1HDFT
The Landcruiser 1HDFT motor goes really well with a Grunter Extreme GTurbo.
With the standard CT26 on the 1HDFT produces around 375nm of torque and 77Kw to 85Kw at the wheels.
Once you have fitted a Grunter Extreme, a 3” exhaust and an intercooler, you can expect between 520nm and 700nm of torque and 145kw to 170kw at the wheels. This drives very nicely indeed and is a popular option for many customers. It’s design boost is 22psi and can be run up to 26psi. The range is due to other items such as a special airbox and the quality of your intercooler.
Price for a Grunter Extreme is $2290 + $68 postage. Turbo is supplied on an exchange basis. You send your turbo back to us after you are happy with the GTurbo
If you want more power, we move into the Bad Boy spec range of GTurbo.
These build boost about 10% later than the Grunter range, but provide more power at the midrange and top end.
Priced at $2390 + $68 postage, torque increases to 580nm to 760nm and between 155kw and 180kw at the wheels. The higher figures assume you have fitted an efficient airbox intercooler and a good 3” exhaust. The Bad Boy runs at 26psi and can go to 30psi.
The Bad Boy Extreme runs at 30psi as it’s design boost and can go to 35psi for extreme performance options. It will produce between 600nm and 790nm of torque and 180 to 200kw. Cost $2490 + $68 postage
Our preference for intercoolers is front mount air to air. However there are often complications that mean that is not the best option - big lights, winches, difficulty fitting etc., that mean another option needs to be found. We accept A2A are harder to fit up, but once done, they just work effectively with no risk of breaking cores filling your engine with coolant, or heat soak with a top mount air to air
If you have an automatic transmission. It’s not so much the turbo choice that has an impact here, it is the tune that you apply. If you tune for maximum performance, then we recommend a valve body upgrade.
Fitment hint
Our airside inlet is slightly larger than the standard turbo. The large rubber hose needs softening with a heat gun to ensure it slips over the turbo inlet.
The GTurbo is totally reengineered to effectively and safely run the boost we specify for long long life. It is balanced to 0.003g or less and will run quietly.
It’s a bolt on replacement for your current turbo to the manifold and exhaust.
Here at GTurbo we can also provide dyno tuning for a charge or $550 provided that you have one of our tuning modules on the vehicle, otherwise we charge $880 for dyno tuning with vehicles supplied with other modules.
GTurbo warranties it’s products for a period of twelve months to be free from manufacturing and assembly defects.

wird das Zeugs eingebaut. Eine Herausforderung wird
noch die Pumpeneinstellung, hab hierfür eine Anleitung,
die mich aktuell a bissl überfordert, überleg daher,
nach Einbau mit dem Geraffel zu einem Pumpenspezialisten
zu fahren
... so der Plan ... schau ma mal ...
