Sheet metal front fenders and flares

[CRUISER FJ40]

Hello everyone !

I come from Slovenia and I renovate one of rare FJ 40 in our country. My question is, where in Europe is possible to buy front sheet metal fenders (Kotflugel) and plastic front fender flares (Radlaufverbreiterung) wide 5 to 6,5 cm. Something like are on this web site http://www.sor.com/sor/cat282.tam?cart= ... t282%2Etam[/u]. Both parts are available in USA but transport costs are wery high. I also know for " Kunststoff" fenders from WEISS DESIGN, but if is posible I would rather have sheet metal fenders.

At authorized dealer for Toyota, here in Slovenia, they are not available anymore. I don´t know how it is at the others dealers in Europe, but I doubt that they have them, becouse also our dealer get all parts from European central warehouse. Maybe you know anyone which sell them?

there are a few sources over here and you can even get them at eBay

Seems like they just send to germany but it might be worth to get in contact with the seller?

Spickey, can you please tell at which dealer and in which town did you ordered your fenders? What was the price?
And what about front fender flares like are on the link in first post? Is there any chanse to get them in Europe?

i got one fender today,the other one is in backorder
and wil arive in june 21
i bought them in the netherlands
so you dont want to buy them here (germany is closer)
price. 209.39 euro incl 19% vat 1piece
most types of j4 fenders are not availeble anymore
and they changed part numbers
these are the part numbers of my fender
right fender part number 53810-90804
left fender part number 53820-90286
so i sugest jou go back to your toyota dealer ,give him these part numbers and let him order these fenders,so you dont have to pay for shipping when you order them in the netherlands or germany
or whatever country
AND DONT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER
about front fender flares,i never seen a j4 over here whit front fender flares,rear yes .so i dont think there is a market for them overhere

For the rubber fender flares have a look at www.kts.de and search for part number #492 7912
They made by LeBra and have 51mm with.

well ,i dont now wich path your friend is going?
but the first fender was in europe and the second one is stil in
japan.so they are not always on stock in europe
you cant just pic them up.

It seams that we solve the problem. Yesterday I called my Toyota dealer and told him part numbers. Later he informed me, that I can get fenders in two weeks. Of course I ordered them. Price with VAT is 206 euro for piece. He also told me, that there exist 12 part numbers for front fenders. It seams that, when I ask the first time for fenders, we make a mistake, when we search part numbers with serial number and model of car. Becouse computer gave him some part numbers under which fenders are no more available. So Spickey, thanks again for your help!
About rubber front fender flares. Quite similar ones I can get in Slovenia. Peter thanks anyway.
