As far as I remember, I used to ask for this part at Toyota Motor Hungary. It was available in two colours; beige and grey.
The price was terrible, of course.

I've got some questions about the 4WD system of KDJ90s.

1. When should work this sign? ( See pic.) Whenever I turn on the ignition, all the wheels are green lighted.
2. Turning into low gear; should I see a warning lamp on the dashboard (?).
3. Locking the middle differential; a yellow lamp ...

I was wondering about fuel consumption, 'cause I started to using the car only for a week ago.
Under mixed conditions ( 80% out of city, 20% city ) it was 8,5l. in avereage. I think, it's also reliable.

An another question about fuel consumption: this week I had a journey to Germany and back to Hungary (1500km. -> 1300km. on highway; speed: between 130-140km/h.; with cruise controll and A/C is on the whole ...

My 4Runner-OME kit still provides factory values after 3 years of use. We checked them before picking out. Yes, rust is a problem. Maybe these australian stuffs don't have enough rost prevent for our clime.

A few days and I'm gonna check in with some new pics about the car!

I also have a set of 8" wide CW rims - and a set of wheel spacers, 30mm. wide each one - picked out from my 4Runner. As I know, they should work on J9 also.

Which rims shall I choose? Do I need the spacers also?

I would like to ask something.
My car is a KDJ90 D4D from 2002. Currently it has 265/70x16 tires on 7" wide factory alu-rims. I would like to change it 265/75x16.

Will it work without any modifications? I mean; lift-kit, remove mud flaps ...

ich möchte hiermit mal ne Warnung aussprechen:
Es lief am 28.01 ein Rammschutz von ARB bei eBay aus, den hab ich mir gekrallt. Nun heute wollt ich das Teil mal aus Gummersbach abholen, von mir ca. 280 km entfernt.
Dann kam der Schock: Der Rammschutz (in gutem Zustand) war nahezu komplett ...
